Enjoy the full breadth of experiences the Swinton Estate has to offer, with a night at Swinton Park and Swinton Bivouac – in whichever order you prefer.
Spend a night in style and luxury at Swinton Park, relaxing in the elegant surroundings of an aristocratic castle. Enjoy a delicious, gourmet dinner in Samuel’s Restaurant, stroll through the Walled Garden and landscaped grounds, or take pleasure in a reviving spa treatment. Next morning, after a full Yorkshire breakfast, why not try your hand at falconry, clay shooting or riding followed by a picnic by the lakes or at the Bothy Hut on the moor?
Spend a second night relishing the bohemian delights of ‘glamping’ in a stylish yurt or hand-built shack at Swinton Bivouac, close to the ‘Druid’s Temple’ folly – as featured on BBC’s Secret Britain. Get back to nature cooking on a wood-burning stove, or enjoy a tasty supper in their café bistro. Relax on your private deck under a canopy of stars before retiring to your cosy bed, with the dawn chorus to look forward to over breakfast. After exploring the mysterious standing stones of the Druid’s Temple, spend your day walking or cycling along the woodland and moorland tracks of the Swinton Estate. In warm weather, treat yourself to a soak in the outdoor hot tub* on the edge of the woods – an unforgettable experience (*pre booking essential).
