Please see our Special Offers page for seasonal offers and special packages, for example our Temple to Turret break which combines a night at Swinton Bivouac with a night at Swinton Park, the luxury castle hotel nearby on the Swinton Estate.
On arrival at Swinton Bivouac, you will be required to provide a Pre-Authorised deposit on your credit or debit card. The standard amounts required* are: £150 for Woodland Shacks, £100 for Meadow Yurts, £50 for a Bunk Barn bed or £200 for the whole Bunk Barn. Please ensure you bring a Credit or Debit Card with you, as you will be asked for this on arrival when checking in at reception. Failure to provide a Pre-Authorised deposit could lead to your booking being cancelled.
Pre-Authorisation Deposit: A Pre-Authorisation deposit does not take the funds out of your account but will place a hold on the given amount. A Pre-Authorisation deposit is required in case of any damage caused to the Swinton Bivouac site or accommodation. No funds will be taken from the customer without prior warning from Swinton Bivouac. If no action is required, the Pre-Authorised amount will be released back to the customer no later than 10 days after your stay.
*Single sex groups: Single sex groups, such as Stag and Hen Parties, are required to leave double the Pre-Authorisation deposit amounts listed above, on arrival. This has become necessary as a preventative measure, to avoid any incidents of anti-social behaviour throughout your stay that might disturb our other guests.
